The Orland City Council discussed reducing the marshal’s salary from 125 to 100 a month and addressed street repairs and crosswalks. Dr J L Masson was named fire chief at 60 a year and water system plans were reviewed, including a potential Middle Fork intake and gravity flow considerations.
The relatives of the late Mrs. Adell Herriott thank Myrtle Point residents for kindness and flowers after her death. Notices include dog tax due for 1921 and remarks on council discussion about rainfall and spring water flow.
