Death of Elijah D. Myers in Myrtle Point Oregon
Elijah D. Myers born February 11, 1855 in Wautauga Tennessee died November 28 1924 at Myrtle Point Oregon aged 69 8 17. He joined the Baptist church young and married Mary L. Grindstaff in 1876. The family moved to Coos County in 1883 and settled at Lee in 1899. He suffered a stroke in 1917 and was a helpless invalid since. He leaves a widow and five children William Mrs Elizabeth Mast Joseph B Grover C and Walter L. Services were held at the Norway cemetery on November 30 with Rev Idso officiating and interment there.
