C H Sierks has lived in the city for about two years and now departs for the East to spend weeks at his Fond du Lac Wisconsin origin. Born in Fond du Lac in 1850 his family resided there long before moving to Oregon in 1879. He plans to promote Coos county and Myrtle Point through photos pamphlets and copies of the local paper to attract investors and visitors.
