At a city meeting the Myrtle Point fire department ordered a new truck costing about 2000 dollars with 1200 pledged and 800 more needed. A street dance next week aids the fund while the council pledges support. The theater also plans a new top curtain and screen. Mra Preasley visits from Palo Alto.
Mr. Randle of the Randle Cash Grocery has acquired Spencer Stock in dry goods clothing and shoes. He will merge stores into one large display and storage room in Coos County and stage a major sale to clean the Spencer stock and close out his North Bend groceries. A new, full stock will follow with broad household offerings.
