Mrs Matilda Lange, eighty nine, a longtime resident of this city and motherly figure to Bruno Lange, died after weeks of illness. Born in Switzerland, she came to New York, then moved to Coos County to settle on a ranch. Survived by nephew Bruno Lange and others, she was active in the Presbyterian church and Ladies Aid. Burial will be in Norway Cemetery after services at the Presbyterian church tomorrow afternoon.

House Burns on Peel Ranch While Owner Away
The small ranch house of Percy Peel on the Peel ranch four miles from town burned to the ground yesterday. Joe Fields had been living there the past year and left early in the morning for several days.
