Mrs. Frank Burkholder, long time Coquille resident and millinery shop proprietor, died last Thursday at 7 o clock after a cancer operation last winter. She was 52 years, 7 months, 28 days old and had lived in Coos County since 1873. She was twice married, first to Charles L. Moon and then to Frank Burkholder in 1908. Her son Claud was with her at death. she belonged to several local fraternal and women’s groups.
