Geo W Halter a 51 year old rancher near Arago was drowned in the Coquille River while finishing potato loading on a new wharf. Neighbors Walter Robigan and Caleb Robigan recovered the body fifty feet from the wharf. He leaves a wife Alma and eight children seven at home. Funeral Friday at Arago Union Church with burial in Norway cemetery.
