Mrs Elizabeth Veen and seven children faced eviction from 7416 S May St as delays in Welfare and Aid for Dependent Children left them without food or rent relief. Kiwanis Peanut Day Drives Charity Sale Across City

Kiwanians from Hyde Park Roseland South Chicago and Southeast Area clubs will sell peanuts on city corners to meet quotas for underprivileged and handicapped youngsters.
