Military Rites Held for Pvt Howard Cutts
Military funeral services were conducted last Friday at West Lawn cemetery for Pvt. Howard Cutts son of Mr and Mrs Samuel Cutts of 7658 Sangamon street. Cutts died November 8 1944 on Leyte while on a volunteer medical corps mission after going to aid a wounded comrade. He held the silver star and Purple Heart and is survived by his parents and a brother Dr Robert I Cutts.
