Railroad Will Answer Citation Order
Central railroad attorneys are scheduled to reply Tuesday to the Illinois Commerce Commission order to show cause why the railroad should not remove tracks from Tietsi and Dorchester avenues to 91st Street and Baltimore Avenue. Richard C. Bills, 42, of 1101 Marquette Road, was fined 350 dollars in Rachelcourt after three Southeast side housewives accused him of writing and telephoning obscene messages. Detectives from the homicide sex bureau traced the calls and arrested Bills in a Wentworth Avenue drug store phone booth after failed trap attempts. Bills claimed intoxication at arrest, but the judge ruled handwriting evidence showed he was sober when writing.
