Police seek suspects in a break in at 7558 Kingston Ave last week. Thieves escaped with three diamond rings a diamond and ruby bracelet valued at 9000 a silver fox fur jacket a lynx fur coat and a leopard cape plus other clothing and a traveling bag. A maid who worked for Mrs. Stanton was released in Grand Crossing court on suspicion of involvement.
A Chicago Park District president told 20 community representatives that only a bond issue can finance a park at 76th street and Jeffery Avenue. A citywide survey by the Recreation Commission is under way to guide spring park plans, with South Shore a possible site. Bryn Mawr Community Church at 7000 Jeffery Ave plans a special fellowship dinner tomorrow evening in the church dining room to celebrate 25 years. Guests include Dr. M Russell Boynton Dr Almer Pennewell and Dr George Fox, with Rev Theodore Vogler presiding. The non-denominational church organized in 1915 began with 119 members and now counts about 2015.
