Military Rites Held Here for William Murry
William G. Murry of 7943 Drexel avenue died in Tucson Arizona after four years in a government hospital. His funeral services were held Tuesday at Mount Olivet Cemetery conducted by St Frances De Paul church with the Chicago Union Labor post and Veterans of Foreign Wars aided by Southeast Post Av & Cross Chatham post No 2705. He served in the 34th Infantry Seventh Division in France. Survivors include his mother four sisters and two brothers with burial in Chicago after the Tucson service.

Stadia Projects Set for Southeast Start in July
Chicago WPA director H. K. Seltzer announced that construction of two concrete stadia in the Southeast area will begin between July 1 and 15, part of a $363,100 per stadium program. Each field includes a 7,000-seat U shaped stadium, track, multiple courts, and team facilities on land set aside by the Chicago Board of Education. Approval also covers two additional South side sites and two more on other locations with starting dates still uncertain.
