Aged Housing Bill Backed by South Chicago Eagles Leader

Al fred O Connor of South Chicago Eagles proposes Illinois aged housing reforms to limit residency to low income seniors and long time local residents within five miles. He aims to prevent outsiders from gaining housing eligibility while supporting local senior housing near Kenosha Waukegan and Skokie. Mother appeals to owner of dog that bit boy

Mrs. William Krohn of 1749 East 71st Street made a public appeal for the owner of a mongrel dog to permit a rabies test after it bit her 11 year old son Billy in front of their home at 6 30 Sunday evening. Without the test or owner found the boy may require rabies treatment.

Real Estate Board Calls War Council on Lake Front Hall

More than twenty civic and business groups were invited to a Chicago Real Estate board meeting to plot opposition to an exposition hall in Burnham Park on the lake front. Anthony Allison warned that built, the lakefront recreation area and Outer Drive would be harmed, and that a legislative push to block the project and investigate Burnham Park land release would be discussed.
