Three elderly residents died within two days after car crashes on the Southeast Side. Mrs Eme Tallmadge, 84, struck at 69th street and Stony Island Avenue. James Quinn, 60, struck at 63rd and Blackstone. Emil Brown, 75, struck at 69th and South. Brown’s sister learned he was alive only after his death, once believed killed in action in the Spanish American War.
