More than 200 South Side residents who were employes or concessionaires at the 1893 Columbian Exposition gathered in Jackson Park for a 1957 reminiscence outing. Members of the 93rs wore 1893 garb and recalled the World’s Fair as they toasted 1893 with residents including Mrs. Gertrude Bestow and Mrs. Marie Domke among others.

Operation Chicago Park District runs day camps for ages eight to twelve in 56 parks citywide.
