The Chicago Public library resumes its Great Dramatic Moments series in cooperation with Edward Elsen marking the seventh year of distinctive concerts. They take place in the Grand Army of the Republic room at Randolph and Michigan on Wednesdays 12:15 to 12:45 pm and Saturdays 12 noon to 1:30 pm.

Adult education offers diploma through Chicago Board of Education
Adult grade school classes invite youths and adults with less than fifth grade schooling to study arithmetic history English geography and other subjects for a possible diploma.
