Doctor Dies After Ice Slip In Chicago Suburb
Dr Louis G Wehrle, 60, an examiner for Metropolitan Life, died after slipping on ice while removing his car from a garage in the 7000 block of East End avenue. A skull fracture or heart attack caused his death an hour and a half later at Jackson Park hospital. Funeral services are set for St Philip Neri church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be Calvary cemetery. He is survived by wife Irene and son Sheridan. Elizabeth Peterson, 69, of 1219 E 68th St, died Tuesday from injuries after a November 29 fall in her home.
