Litton hikes ship cost projections by more than 500 million
Litton Industries updated its cost estimates for Ingalls Shipbuilding contracts raising the total by over 500 million. The LHA carrier five ship program now tops 1.0 billion with delays pushing completion to 1979, while the DD-963 destroyer program adds 69 million.
