Dream of decade ago soon reality I-10 opening
Interstate 10 will open early January from U.S. 49 in North Gulfport to MS 57 near Fountainbleau, bypassing U.S. 90 congestion. The 23 mile section will bring growth to North Gulfport, North Biloxi, and d Iberville St Martin area, with only one of five interchanges ready at opening. Project superintendent Maurice Clark says flow-through traffic around Jan 1, weather permitting.
