Two Killed Near Irwin in Lincoln Highway Crash
Two Toledo men Milton J. Nolan and James W. Kievit died in a pre-Memorial Day crash on the Lincoln highway near Irwin Greensburg. Their sedan crossed a grassy divider in heavy rain and collided with a Trans-America Freight Lines truck driven by Thomas D. Benedictis of Harrisburg. Nolan died at the scene. Kievit died later in a hospital. The truck, owned by a Detroit firm, was badly damaged and the driver was released. The accident occurred about one and a half miles west of the express highway terminus.
