John Paplinka, 45, of Kring Station, was injured when struck near Krings Station around 11:30 Tuesday night. He was taken to Johnstown Memorial hospital with lacerations to his right ear and head. Car driver Robert J. Sullivan, of 108 Union Street, Johnstown, said he was blinded by the lights of a parked car and officers at Jennertown state motor police reported Sullivan would not be held.
