Supply Convoy Battered In Mekong River
A Mekong River supply convoy to Phnom Penh came under heavy fire injuring several and killing a Filipino sailor on the tug Wolverine. Two cargo ships and two tankers were damaged as U S F 4 bombers hit insurgent positions along the route. The convoy limped into Phnom Penh at dusk with fires and leaking fuel aboard multiple vessels.
