Moving Train Crash Kills Driver at Lake Somerset Crossing
A car driven by 27 year old Dean L Weaver collided with a moving freight train on the Lake Somerset road between Route 219 and Route 53. He died at Somerset Community Hospital from multiple skull fractures a broken neck and a crushed chest. The crash occurred about 3 30 a m and the train crew learned of the collision after reaching the B and O yards in Somerset. Authorities provide this account see moving on page 2.
