James Leo Dolan 26 of Windber was killed at Berwind White Mine No 35 when a moving locomotive derailed a parked coal car, unseating a prop and letting a rock crush him. Investigators from Mine Inspector’s office and coroner’s staff probed immediate cause and possible inquest. Dolan, born October 19 1914 in Bakerton Cambria County, left a widow and several siblings. funeral arrangements led by W J Baer.
