Father Albert A. Gartland will celebrate 25 years as pastor of St. Peter's Church Somerset and its missions St. Joseph's Boswell and St. Michael's Listie with Mass at 7 30 p m May 27 at St Peters. A public reception will follow in the parish hall. Born Sept 9 1905 in Altoona he was ordained Feb 28 1931 and has served in Altoona Johnstown and later Somerset since 1943. The parishes have grown from 438 to 1044 members at year end 1967 with missions in Boswell and Listie.
