In Hagerstown Maryland the AFL strike of Blue Ridge Bus lines drivers and maintenance men ended within 24 hours. Traffic halted across Maryland and parts of West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The walkout began after a driver was suspended with workers voting to return after an international union official urged arbitration.

William S. Livengood and Frank R. Coder Jr have passed the state bar examinations. Livengood will be admitted before the state supreme court in Harrisburg next Monday afternoon on the governor’s motion. Coder’s admittance arrangements remain unsettled. Both were approved by Somerset County bar. In Binghamton New York on May 21 state police halted the King Brothers circus caravan at Conklin. Thirteen truck drivers pleaded guilty to operating vehicles with faulty equipment and paid five dollar fines. Pittsburgh reporters say a truck backed into three men as they discussed construction plans at a housing development in Penn township. Mancuso, 34, of Wilkinsburg, was killed.
