Liberators attack Pratas radio station in China sea sweep
Liberators of the 14th American air force attacked a radio station on Pratas island southeast of Hong Kong destroying three buildings and damaging another. In the same sweep a convoy was damaged and a 1,000-ton ship reported. Chinese and American planes struck over a wide area, with heavy fighting around Loyang and on the Peiping-Hankow railway.
