Herman Becker age 28 of Hooversville was arrested on non support of his wife and four children. After a hearing he was sent to Somerset County jail. Kenneth Williams 26 of Friendens RD was arrested and jailed for desertion and non support. Constable E D Peck made the arrest.

Military pay raise bill agreed upon in conference
Senate House Conference Committee reached a final version of a military pay raise bill aimed at boosting recruitment and retention.
