Revival services led by Rev. John C. Lisbon of Allison Park begin Tuesday April 2 at Scullion Gospel Mission. Evening meetings run at 7 30 with Rev J Ernest Bauman as song leader except on Mondays.
Noah Beabes of West Fairview Street will observe his 97th birthday Sunday March at the home of his son in law and daughter Mr and Mrs Howard Peck Fort Hill RD 1. Warrey J Beabes and Orie M Beabes of Somerset will attend. Mrs Park Carr of Somerset RD 2 cannot be present due to illness. N E Beaches of Knox Clarion County will not attend.
Clyde H. Maize, state mine inspector for the 29th bituminous district, moves his family to Gray after securing a position there. He returns from four and a half years of Pacific duty as a lieutenant colonel and was appointed to oversee the county area earlier this year. In other notes, the Friday Night club met Mrs. Jerome Good for 3:00 bridge and refreshments, and Mrs. Co. D. Reynolds hosted the N. F. club at Hill Top at 9:00 for bridge and a collation.
Mrs Mong al Mrs Walker Mong who traveled to New York City to visit her sisters Miss Natalie Brannan Jacqueline Brannan and Mrs Frew Hall is reported to be suffering from pleurisy with a significant deterioration in health.
Mr and Mrs Raymond Brusco of Pittsburgh spent Friday in Somerset visiting friends. Mrs Brusco was a patient in Somerset Community hospital for several months after a serious injury in an automobile wreck in the Allegheny tunnel last December. Mrs Nora S Mitchell and daughter Mrs Marie W Little are in Baltimore Maryland visiting Mrs Hewes.
The state Supreme Court finished its spring session in Pittsburgh today after hearing thirty four cases. The court will reconvene on April 8 in Philadelphia.
Nicholas R. Doman spoke at Somerset High School about Nazi Germany and the influence of frauleins and propaganda on Allied troops. He urged an international police force and replacing draftees with political scientists to secure lasting peace.

A refrigerator car jumped the tracks today on the Trenton cutoff near King of Prussia, ripping down an electrified circuit and cutting off current for 14 miles. Two other cars derailed, blocking traffic for several hours. No injuries reported.

Pfeiffer Steve Zellem son of Mr and Mrs Theodore Zellem of Listie has arrived at Furstenfelderuch Germany to be stationed permanently near Munich on the Bavarian Alps. Before entering service in March 1945 Pfc Zellem lived in Friedens Somerset township and worked as a rigger for American Bridge at Ambridge. Roy Ed ward Himes electrician's mate 3/e receives his honorable discharge at Bainbridge separation center after 26 months submarine duty aboard the USS DACE and USS RACE. He earned the navy unit commendation ribbon the submarine combat pin with two stars the America theatre ribbon the Asiatic-Pacific theatre ribbon with one star the Philippine liberation with two stars and the good conduct medal. He plans to enter school next term and is son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Himes of Rockwood.
