He is still weak but eating well and began to say a few words. His parents took him to church Wednesday night and Scotty shook the pastor’s hand several times.

Fire destroys large section of Gulf Research complex
An explosion sparked a fire at the Gulf Research and Development Corp. complex in Friends Cove near Bedford. The blaze caused about 1.5 million dollars in damage with no injuries reported, according to a company spokesman.
