Falling Plaster Wall Kills Boy in City Rubble

Miss Rosalind P. Fluck of 313 West Union street narrowly escaped injury when her car was struck by Elmer House of Hooversville on Route 55 opposite Somerset Fertilizer Works about 3:25 Tuesday afternoon. State police said Fluck turned from a driveway and caused the collision. No injuries or prosecutions. Damages estimated at 40 dollars for the Fluck car and 20 dollars for the House car.

Killed on Way From Mount Pleasant Vacation
Harry E. Patton a Detroit Free Press district salesman died in a head on crash on US Route 40 fifteen miles east of Columbus Ohio in driving rain Sunday. He was traveling with two hitch hikers one of whom also died. Edward Morgan aged 76 in the other car was seriously injured. Three other occupants of the Morgan car perished. Patton had been on vacation in Detroit and left Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania near Greensburg Sunday morning.
