President Truman, who arrived with praise for the work, plans to address the final session as delegates prepare to sign the charter, with signing to begin no sooner than nine tomorrow morning and the last session at 3:30 p.m. local time.

Knepp Kills Wife and Self at Braden
A former Somerset County couple, William Knepp and his wife Margaret 33, were found dead at their Braden home near Waynesburg after Knepp shot his wife and then himself. Coroner says a son and daughter summoned help. funeral services are planned at Meyersdale and White Oak church with Rev. J. K. Gindlesperger presiding. Mrs Knepp was daughter of George Holle of Larimer township. Surviving: two children, Geraldine and Louis. Knepp leaves a father, three sisters, four brothers. Mrs Knepp leaves her father and eight brothers.

Veteran James C. Barnes Dies in Train Fall at Phoenixville
Sgt. James C. Barnes, 30, of Gettysburg, a patient at Valley Forge General Hospital, was killed last night at Phoenixville when he fell from a Reading railroad passenger train as it departed. Witnesses say he lost his balance during a somersault, landing beneath the moving cars. Barnes had been at the hospital since October 16, 1943 after losing his left arm and left eye in an automobile accident.

Albert Roman, 27, of Johnstown, who recently received a medical discharge from the Army, was stabbed in the abdomen in Philadelphia Saturday night. Little Girls Drown In Youghiogheny River Tragedy
Two Addison township sisters Carol Irene Nichol son eight and Mary Ann Nicholson eleven died after leaving a rock ledge and entering a pool about twenty feet deep in the Youghiogheny. Neither could swim and their bodies were recovered by a crowd of about seventy five. The deaths were ruled accidental drownings with funeral rites planned at the Richebarger funeral home in Addison.
