Wilmingtion Delaware AP August J Lippi a Pennsylvania United Mine Workers official was convicted Monday on federal labor bribery charges by a jury of eight women and four men. The 59 year old president of UMW District 1 faced three counts each carrying up to one year in jail and a 10000 fine. The trial lasted six days with sentencing deferred.
