The second round of the Somerset county fire school ended Thursday at North Somerset waterworks with classes in salvage and overhaul first aid and rescue beginners ladder work structural fires inflammable liquids and fire. School chairman Rayman Meyers and secretary Clyde Miller note attendance under 125 registered by Wednesday and another 7 to 10 pm session is planned. Few Votes Cast In Wheat Voting Across County
Only three county wheat growers cast ballots in the wheat marketing quota referendum. Two favored the quota and one opposed it, with at least sixty farmers eligible.
