Bank Robbery in Somerset County Nets Two Suspects
State Police arrested James Franklin Klink and Shirley Louise Smith a Garrett man and a Johnstown woman about an hour after the First National Bank of Somerset County in New Centerville was robbed of more than $7 000. They were arraigned and remanded to jail with bonds set at 20000 and 10000. The robbery occurred at 1 15 p m. a note demanded all available tens fifties and hundreds. A white station wagon fled the scene and a roadblock on Rt 31 led to the capture with money found in the car and bags. The FBI will process bank security film as joint probe continues.
