Boose handed heavy sentences to Charles Henry Hart of Dallas and his girlfriend Katherine Dubnicay of New Kensington after pledges in a conspiracy to rob the Somerset County treasurer and an attempted burglary at the Atlantic service station. Hart received two and a half to five years in the Western Penitentiary plus a $1 fine and costs, plus one year in the Allegheny County workhouse for the conspiracy, to run after his penitentiary term.
