Horse Show At Moore Farm Benefits Children’s Aid Society
The second annual Somerset Saddle Horse show benefiting the Children’s Aid Society is set for Sunday June 20 at the Moore Brother’s farm near the Children’s Aid home. Gates open at 1 pm for about four hours with county horses and ponies competing for cash prizes and blue ribbons. The program includes rough riding contests and races plus entertainers Hawk Shaw Hawkins from WWVA and Pau Pritts with Champion. A crowd of several thousand is expected and grandstand seating for about a thousand will be provided with public address coverage.
