Man Killed Trying to Halt Bulldozer at Quarry
Elwood Walker 47 of Somerset R D 6 was killed Saturday when he fell under a bulldozer at the Bakersville quarry of Somerset Limestone Co. He had been plowing snow to open a road into the quarry and, after leaving the idling machine, attempted to reenter the cab to stop it as it slid down a 200 foot embankment.
