Fire destroys Berlin area home injuring resident
Mrs Mae Foor 46 of Berlin RD 4 was listed in satisfactory condition Monday night at Meyersdale Community Hospital after a fire destruction of her residence on Mud Pike. She saved only a blanket and a Christmas present while attempting to check a basement furnace before heavy smoke forced her out. Firemen protected nearby buildings as flames spread through the roof and windblown embers hindered efforts. damage estimate not yet set.
