The Supervising Principal's Office and the Somerset Area Schools business office move to Union Street School at 218 North Kimberly starting January 3. Howard Trexel, supervising principal, says the change is permanent.
Somerset County accounts for seventeen of Pennsylvania’s 1769 municipal authorities per the State Department of Internal Affairs. Among these, school authorities show six with $9.543 million outstanding in bonds, water authorities five with $2.429 million, two sewer authorities with no bond issues, two miscellaneous authorities totaling $55,000, and two multi purpose authorities with four projects and $1.894 million outstanding.
