Stranded Women Rescued After Eight Days on Potatoes
In Tonopah Nevada two stranded travelers Mrs Noma Hart and 15 year old niece Betty Lou Hetker from Gardenerville were found near Moore s Station eight miles from their destination. Youngstown Ohio December 27 19 year old railroad worker Robert Schuster died in a holiday tragedy that left his mother as the sole survivor. His father Frank Schuster 41 hacked his son and daughter Virginia 17 with a hatchet then fatally shot himself at their Lake Milton home.
