James Korasek 22 of Irwin Penn was charged with murder and automobile theft after a stolen car driven by him collided with a vehicle carrying E Cranfill 74 who died from injuries suffered Christmas Eve. A coroner inquest in Boswell absolved William F. Lafferty of blame in the death of Andrew Slota 63 of Acosta struck Christmas evening on Route 219 near Gray.
