Kimmel a 1946 Reo truck carrying gasoline. AltmillER’s brakes failed, causing the chain collision. AltmillER bruised knee, Naymick sprained back, no severe injuries. Damages totaled about 850 dollars.

Farkosh Cited For Action By Grand Jury
After a coroner inquest in the court house a Somerset man serving in the U S air force was cited for grand jury action in a fatal head on collision on the Plank road near Somerset on September 27 1951. Sgt Carl Farkosh was found negligent in driving his car which struck Arthur E Albright of Salisbury injuring him fatally and killing him at Somerset Community Hospital. Albright’s wife also was hurt. A witness said the Farkosh car was on the wrong side of the road. The inquest was led by Coroner A M Uphouse with State Policeman Ralph Weller presenting evidence. The jury included several residents. Sgt Farkosh is on duty with the air force on the Pacific coast.
