Christmas meals are planned for patients and residents across Seay Memorial Home Somerset State Hospital and Siemon Nursing Home. Seay Memorial will serve 24 with two large turkeys and 31 charges in foster care. Somerset Community Hospital expects about 75 to 80 patients with turkey as the highlight and family style service. Siemon Nursing Home will host 28 patients with tray favors. programs and church observances are planned throughout the week.

Sunshine Lady Spreads Cheer At Christmas Time
Miss Blodwen Lewellyn the Sunshine Lady of Berlin reports a strong year for the Sunshine Corner charity. Forty five baskets of good things were sent to Berlin shut ins and Somerset State Hospital patients, with visits to Somerset State Hospital and the Somerset County Home for the Aged. The tour continued to the Goodwill Mennonite Home Grantsville and to homes in West Salisbury and Meyersdale. Rev Ralph E Mills joined the visits, a non profit project now in its eighth year, co sponsored by Valley Grange No 78 and supporters providing cookies candy oranges and cash.
