Plane Downed on Zook Farm Near Meyersdale
A four person plane en route from Wilmington Delaware to Pittsburgh landed in a field on the Samuel Zook farm four miles west of Meyersdale after a non functioning radio forced the emergency stop at 5 p m Tuesday. One passenger traveled to be with his ill mother in law. After partial repairs the party left the Zook residence at 9 a m Wednesday to resume the trip to Wilmington. The passengers stayed the night at the Zook home and invited a return visit with families.
