A Christmas party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Driggs of Berlin revealed the engagement of their daughter Marguerite to Norman Maust of Somerset. Attending were family friends and neighbors, including the Maust and Landis households, with Mr. Maust employed in the S. & A. Chevrolet Co. parts department. A spring wedding is planned and Miss Driggs works as a secretary and bookkeeper for Snyder's Bakery in Berlin.

Christmas Puppet Show AtLibrary Delights Large Crowd
Mary Bieseeker library presented a puppet show for about 125 children with Santa Claus arriving in a toy sleigh. Mrs Vance Coleman led the performance with costumed dolls, stage props, and a living room scene as children watched the Christmas eve tale unfold. The show toured Rockwood Stoystown and will be at the Children's Aid home Monday with the American Legion.

Mennonite Choir Visits Children’s Aid Home With Gifts
The Mennonite church choir from Johnstown with 30 voices visited the Children’s Aid home on Sunday and sang. Accompanied by Rev. Lehman, the event included a gifts visit from a Hopewell Sunday school committee of Boswell led by Mrs. J O Hay Mrs Walter C Griffith and Mrs James Winters.
