The Rev Dr I Hess Wagner announced Christmas services will feature carillon music using amplified electrical transcriptions since no Somerset church owns a real carillon. Tests last Tuesday produced clear sound heard within a quarter mile, with a half hour concert on Christmas Eve and additional services Sunday morning. The system, installed by Wadsworth W Wagner, uses a transcription disc microphone and a church belfry amplifier. The minister marks 30 years in Somerset since 1908 arrival.
