Three persons were injured, none seriously, and $700 damage occurred Tuesday morning when two cars collided on Route 53 near Friedens. Calvin J. Long, 70, of Friedens, suffered facial contusions and abrasions and shock. his condition was fair. Mrs. Elizabeth Brant of Stoystown and Evelyn Jarmon of Wilbur sustained bruises. The Long car, driven by J. Chester Long, stopped to discharge a passenger and left to turn. it was struck by Walter Hahn of Johnstown. Hahn car damage $300, Long automobile $400.
