Heart Attack Takes Life Of F K Findley
Fred K Findley died of a heart attack at 10 45 pm Monday while at work in his West Main street pharmacy. A longtime community member he was trustee and elder at St Pauls Presbyterian church and held roles with the Somerset Y M C A Rotary club and Chamber of Commerce. He opened Findley Pharmacy in 1954 after purchasing the local drug store.

Plans Changed President Kennedy to stay in Palm Beach

Brownie spent 50 days trapped in an abandoned West Virginia mine shaft before rescue. Charles Dillon retrieved the dog with help from a minister led bulldozer crew.
