Stuart Shaver 60 longtime justice of the peace and insurance operator in Stoystown died suddenly of a heart attack at his home Tuesday noon. He served 19 years in public service and held local business roles. Funeral at 2:30 p m Thursday at his residence with Rev J D Foerster officiating, burial in Stoystown Odd Fellows cemetery. He is survived by his wife Hazel Schlag Shaver, a son Corporal Robert S Shaver on furlough from Boca Raton Field Florida, and his mother. He was born in Friedens to Ida Shaffer Shaver and the late Jeremiah J Shaver. He was a member of Saintown Lutheran church and Somerset Masonic lodge 358. Burial under J H Deaner mortician.
